jt,

40.8 feet! Sure hope your home isn't in danger. Hopefully, the waters will recede soon and the excitement with them. I understand that the aftermath is not something to look forward to. Please be safe!

thanks Marty!
we just got back to school today( sunday)   the students behaved very well, and we had some good times  with them at the camp - lots of  volleyball games etc... most importantly, the dikes held even though the river actually crested at over 42 feet, in excess of their design load, but not quite over the top..    so, our town is dry, but, sad to say, lots of folks in surrounding areas are returning to devastation...   it will be weeks and months till some are back to normal..   now to catch up with email!  jt

Found the boat. I think. Three cuts up from the bottom of the picture near the end of the cut on the right hand side if your standing in the black top road. Across from the yellow house. Thanks that was fun.
