my brother, a minister named his boat "Visitation" and when someone called his wife and asked to speak to him, she replied, "he is not here he is out on 'Visitation.' "

My boat's name comes from Finnish poetry, Mokki - with the diacritic umlaut over the 'o'.  Means "a fine, private place.  I must be happy with that name, as all my sailboats have carried it, without the Roaming Numerals, of course.   My dinghy's are named Kom, meaning Come.  All the other runabouts, skiffs and mugwumps must take their chances.

I like the name Puff. Conjurs up memories of the old Peter, Paul and Mary song "Puff the magic dragon" although puff in relation to the wind is my first thought.
Contrary to someones wrong conclusion here a few years ago, my boat is not named after the Koinonia farm or cummune in Georgia...or wherever it is. It is a greek word found in the new testament meaning a deep level of fellowship between God and man. My boat is where Father and I have our greatest conversations!

Former resident of NJ, most recently of Voorhees, earlier lived in Ramsey, Ringwood, NJ.  /Moved to Easton, MD, when I retired to spend more time sailing, eating crabs, oysters, carving waterfowl, playing golf (nearly year round).  Please don't tell anyone about this place, it's getting too crowded with newbies from the DC district, NJ and PA.

Bob23 and everyone else!

Well, it's official... Pegasus had her gilded scripted name applied to her hull today. Looks great! I know, pictures! Eventually. Really slooow learner!

P.S. I have a bit of Jersey blood in me... Northern Valley Regional Norseman... We HATED Ramsey! I don't think we ever beat them in a football game. On the upside, we did defeat Pascack Valley 25-19 on Thanksgiving Day in 1959! I played defensive end in that one (for at least 2 plays!). Our hero was Bill Garrett (QB) who won the game with a 6"+ gash down his leg. Some things you never forget.

Because my Grandfather & Grandmother emigrated from Hungary at the turn of the last century I went with their native language out of respect. My CP 16 is being overhauled by me this fall and winter and will be known as SOR VORDA. Loosely translated meaning BEER BUCKET.   Hoist a couple for the CPYOA, (Halyards and Brews),  Steve
