I have the same cushions on my 1981.  I can measure them tonight and post the dimensions for you.

The dimensions in inches are 46.5 x 7 x 3

I just noticed a typo in my dimensions.  The dimensions should be 46.5 x 7 x 2 not 46.5 x 7 x 3.  The cushion is only 2 inches thick not 3 inches.

thanks -- - you guys are great .
BTW -- on my little lake I unoffically raced a Mcgreggor 25 or 26 , and following by 4-6 boat lenghts I overtaken him
both port and starboard tacks.  Kinda nice that this beefy cruiser is swift footed in light air .

Thanks, Hock:
Yes, we know we are great but it's nice to be reminded from time to time. We (and you) are also the most humble men around. And proud of it!
I've heard the 23 referred to as a barge and I personally resent that. Last Saturday I got in an informal race with an old 30 foot something or other ketch. While he wasn't flying his mizzen, he was flying full main and a large genoa. He didn't beat me by all that much. He should've flown by me but my little 23 held her own.
