   First off, we're all pretty crazy already. Second, we're all pretty crazy already.
  I also noticed the missing pins. Last week, my brothers backstay on his O'day Mariner came loose because he neglected to install..guess what: cotter pins. The mast didn't come down but could have. I use circle pins and check 'em every couple of weeks or so. Cheap insurance.
