23-P status

Had some email correspondence with Gerry H. on another matter and asked about status of the new 23-P (pilot house).  He said they are doing interior modules now and should have it ready to test sail by the first of May.  I went on the Com-Pac site (news) and noted that hull one is sold and there are some interesting comments by the first customer.

The more I see it the more I like it.  It may be the right boat for the times, at least for old guys like me.  From our recent survey I'd say that the vast majority of us are "old guys".:)

Now that I see some actual photos, I also like it. Looks like a hinged mast tabernacle is going to be used. Interesting. I wonder if Gerry and the boys are gonna offer to retrofit older 23's?

btw...I think the buyer of the first 23P is Frank of CP25 fame here at the site.
