Is anyone using the knotstick from www.knotstick.com?
I have been thinking of buying one, are they usefull on a 16 ft boat? And are the accurate??

Don't know why it would not be accurarate. Simple mechanical design. The only issue i would have for a 16 is the range of speed it is designed for. If it is especially useful for speeds over 5 knots then it's of no use to boat where the theoretical hull speed is less than 5 knots.

I just use the speed over ground from the GPS... accurate enough for our lake (no current to speak of)
