I also have a 1985 23/2 "Koinonia" hull number 321. What number is yours? I have a little clue how to make mine go...you'll be amazed at how wonderful a boat the 23 is! You already know how beautiful she is...enchanting, almost.
Lost:
I'm gonna keep an eye on this topic. Depending on when this takes place, I might just be able to trailer "Koinonia" down from NJ. Heck, it's not that far, right? Plus it would give me an excuse to stop and see my Uncle Jim in Wilmington and tip a few back!

We are getting a lot of good response and interest. I am still in South West Asia, returning home in 7 weeks. I will put a information packed together and send out after the holidays. This should be fun.  It is truly a beautiful area to explore.

Best regards to all

Count us in as well, coming from Charlotte with our 1986 19/II.

Sounds like a great idea. I would like to make it also with my CP-16 from Kinston NC.

I've talked it over with the Admiral - we're planning on trailing down from Smith Mtn Lake, VA

Ahoy mates,

My time on the other side of the world has been extended....I am still planning on the spring sail. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

wes

As a brand new (yesterday) CP 19 owner, living in Durham, I'd be very interested in this event. Guess this means I need to get busy with the bottom painting project. Please put me on the list if the spring event move forward.

I'm assuming it's still on. I believe lostsailor is Afganistan so he may not be able to get back to us right away, I would plan on being there.

Depending on dates, will have to give this event some serious consideration. After all, it's not often a call goes out to all Com-Pac sailers to join in a relatively short coastal cruise that is within reach. Think there might be a space left for a Southwest Florida SunCat named "Frisky".

Bob23

I'm sure of it! btw, where in sw Florida? Forgive me if I've asked this question before. My daughter lives in Punta Gorda and we may venture down there for a mid-winter sanity break.

(ps: I'm looking forward to this Compac event in North Carolina...it's a little more do-able for me, being in NJ)

We live in Port Charlotte, right across the Harbor from Punta Gorda! Charlotte Harbor is a great place to enjoy a boat - no matter what kind it is. And, as I heard recently, down here you can't shovel RAIN!
