Compac 27 Move/Transport

Hello Everyone,

We own and sail a CP19-3 on Tablerock Lake near Branson, MO.

We have our eye on a CP27 in the panhandle of Florida and need to hire it moved (650 miles).

Is there any CP27 owner with a trailer that would be willing to move the boat for an arranged fee?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you gotten a quote from a transporter to have it moved ? An option if you can't arrange for a move.

Rooke sails in Memphis has a Hydraulic transport trailer and can launch from it without the use of a crane or tami-lift.  Lists fresh water only, so have to be lifted on from your panhandle location unless it is already out of the water.  He can de-rig and re-rig your mast.  Might be better to have an insured entity do it rather than a private party.  Memphis about half way between the two locations so maybe lower cost without significant deadhead.

A disclaimer:  I've met both Chris and Charlotte Rooke, they seem to be very competent and knowledgeable but I've never used this service.
