A Sink

What exactly does one do with a sink in a cabin that can't be done with a bucket in the cockpit?  Real estate is at a premium in our small cruisers.  Is a sink really necessary?

Yep, I think I agree with you here.  Most of the time my sink ends up just being used as an extra storage spot.  However it is kind of nice when doing dishes and cooking down below on cold or rainy days.
