twin rudder

I'm looking at a Compac 16.   The ad says it was modified with a twin rudder and a stick steering mechanism which allows for more room in the cockpit (no tiller).
Has anyone heard of that and/or have thoughts on whether it would affect performance.??

I saw a picture of that boat, it looks like there are now two new thru-hulls to think about. On the other hand, the smaller rudders may have the same bite as the stock one when heeled over. I would go for a sail and see what you think.

Stick rudder, take a look at ENTAP french made, nonsinkable sail boats.
Been around for years.

And I don't think a CP-16 needs a twin rudder, either through hull or transom hung. I would think each rudder would be quite a bit smaller then the original.

Like to see a picture of the twin rudders and stick steering.    Not to be negative and narrow minded, however, In my own opinion sounds like some ones nightmare escaped into the real world.  Think I would look for another boat.
