So is anyone planing on being there? I understand that Gerry (Compac Gerry) will be there.  Perhaps we could schedule a meet of several Compac owners and voice our support, offer our testimonials and generally give him a hard time.

Rich Hutchins is pretty laid back. A true southern boy. And he'll field a few questions about the boats, but remember he is their to push the current Com-Pac offering...new boat sales, so be careful. He's looking for guys with 'jing' in the pockets. Offer to buy him a lunch with beverages.

I canceled my plans to go a few weeks back.  It was to have been a multiple bird bag with one stone.  In order of importance:

Visit very close friend in Boca Raton.
Visit very close live-a-board friend on the waterway just east of Ft. Meyers.
Run the A1A marathon in Ft. Lauderdale.
Go to the Miami boat show.

Marathon is out, just couldn't push up the training miles in the coldest, wettest winter in the last 25.  New target, San Antonio in the fall.
Trip impacted by other events close to home and a good old dog, pushing 15 that can no longer travel or board easily.  Thought she would be passed on to dog heaven by now, but she didn't get the memo from the Vet when he said she wasn't going to last too much longer.  She soldiers on with a remarkably pleasant disposition.

I would have liked to have met the Hutchins boys and any other ComPac enthusiasts who made the show.

Have fun
Maybe next year.
