Thanks for posting the link to craigslist.  Hope it sells, it really is a nice boat.  I know he bought a depth gauge for it also, but doesn't have it completly installed.

No problem.  I looked all over Minnesota and Wisconsin for Com-Pac 16's before getting lucky and finding one right here in the Minneapolis metro.  By the way, there are three Com-Pac 16's currently listed in the Minneapolis Craig's list:

Glad I decided to go with a Com-Pac 16.  I looked at a lot of boats at 19' and under.  Com-Pac 16's and Precision 18's were my early favorites. I'd have gone with a Montgomery 17 too.  The Com-Pac 16 was the only one that would fit in my garage easily. I've had a lot of fun sailing it this summer and, as I'm generally alone or with my wife, we really haven't needed anything bigger.
