Tilt Trailer

Out of curiosity, how many of you use the tilt feature on the Hutch trailer?  If so, under what circumstances?  Advice for those of us yet to try it?

Only for loading on shallow angle ramps.  If I don't pull the tilt pin the boat gets "stuck" as the keel pushes on the rear roller.  Forcing it at this point is bad for the Bow eye.    Steep ramps or hitch extenders mitigate its necessity by placing the trailer deeper.

So far only when retrieving from lawn launch.
