Our 1982 Com-Pac 19 came with the main sail and two head sails (all from Johnson sails).

Some of my sailing buddies say that my head sails are too big, or they are No. 1 and No. 2 Genoa's.

My question..............What is the correct sail size for No. 1 head sail (or working jib for the 19??

Will compare answers to what I have.

Thanks for the help!!!!

The headsail of my C-P 19 is a 155% Genoa, and that _% is hand written on the edge of the Johnson sail by who ever finished the sail at the factory.

In the CPYOA 'Image Gallery here' [see above] find the album  'skip's pics'  I scanned a typed up spec sheet about my boat and the particulars as one of the 32 photos in the album. I have added a few things since then like LED lights for running, and steaming light.

I can no longer add any more pictures to this CPYOA Image Gallery, [A message says I have no space left. This I don't understand as some galleries have 1,800 or so images. I have 32 images.]

Additional photos posted on the Frappr slideshow link found at the bottom of the CPYOA Homepage and some more pictures in the Frappr link at the bottom of each of my posts propper. skip.
