Thanks Skip my point exactly - of any pfd is meaningless unless you are wearing it when you go over. Kind of like the video I saw once of the skydiver that was shooting the video and was so absorbed in his role that he had forgotten to put on his parachute. Watching the video he was shooting was startling but I am sure that most of these tragedies begin with an innocent oversight.
Whatever kind of PFD you choose - wear it.
