Try to go sailing, no sail track stop for the  16, could not lower the main without sail guides coming out of the main.  What size is it, and can I get it from west marine.  Thanks for you help.

I use the standard Davis round sail stop.  I was thinking of installing a mast gate instead as I leave the boat on a mooring with a sail cover.  Has anyone installed a gate?

Sounds like Carol has you fixed up with the sail stop. I like Carol's idea of a mast gate because it allowes the sail guides to drop closer to the boom which makes it easier to put sail cover on(if you have one) and or furel sail onto boom.

Thanks, for your help.  My Davis Sail Stop was the Davis #2351 flat (small).  I pick it up at Lake Dillon in Colorado.  I needed the help, thanks again.

Is your boat on Dillon now? I think I saw it the other day.

No, the family spend the week at Vail, I stop by to check on the stop, and glad I did.  The Lake looked wonderful with all the Sailboats.  The back drop of the Rocky's is stunning.

I've only ever seen Dillion when it's frozen :-)  We were there this winter for USASA snowboard nationals.  Must be beautiful in the summer.
