I was out in some decent breeze yesterday and this little boat can surely handle the puffs.  It was blowing around 10 to 15 knots  with some intermittant puffs and i felt perfectly comfortable in her ability to handle the extra velocity from the gusts.  No reefing just mild sail adjustments.

My twelve and ten year olds have already learned alot of the basic terms and are beginning to enjoy the feel of the heeling this boat provides when conditions permit.  The extra weight of this little cat really helps keep the weather air under control just, what I was looking for as an introduction boat for the kids.

So you did well to plant the sailing seed within the kids...good for you. It's a life long thing. skip.
