If your looking for some very good lake maps.  Go to www.scmaps.com  They have several states, 7 or so with over 4,000 lakes of information .  Some of the info is DEPTH and BOAT LAUNCH location.
We have found them pretty accurate, tho with all the rain here in Wisconsin some of the launches are gone and or under water.  Hope that will change soon.

These maps seem a little pricey, but it is nice to know all the info you can get on a new lake your going to.

Good Luck and Smooth Sailing,
Doug

Lost Lake

Thanks Doug,
I went out on Lake Mendota, and the water was so high, if I stayed out of the trees, I was sure to be in at least 6 feet of water.

There wasn't a lot of wind though! I enjoyed a few 10 knot gusts, but I think the wind averaged about 5 or 6 knots.
