Right about this time of year in the New Orleans area it's way too hot and humid to go outside much less sailing.  The air is either still or scarey with intermittent thunderstorms... not to mention the annual "bowling for hurricanes" competition.  Anyway, I start to feel like someone in the far north during the month of February... in short... cabin fever.

So, amongst other indoor activities... I started perusing some of my old links and found this really interesting study of telltales.
I have been paying more attention to them since I got new sails with a decent set of them.  I thought I'd share it with the group and maybe some of the southern sailors might find it interesting... the rest of you, get out there before the lakes freeze... you'll have plenty of time by the fireside when we're sailing away down here... There's no perfect place!  SO enjoy what you can when you can... Awaiting the arrival of October!
