News:

2-15-25: Gerry Hutchins, founder of Com-Pac, has crossed the bar and headed west.

Sincere condolences to his family, and a huge "Thank You!" to Gerry from all of us, I'm sure.
Requiescat in pace.

Hello.
My name is Chris and I've purchased a 1979 Com-Pac 16 last spring and just found this site through an outdoor forum. My registration was accepted a while back, but the notification went to my spam folder! So anyhow,  hoping to learn a bit from everyone here and hopefully provide some useful information now and then as well.

The Com-Pac is my fourth sailboat. I started out with a CL 16 then upgraded to a Potter 19'. At the same time, I also owned a 14" O'day Super Swift but am happy to have landed with the Com-Pac.  I live in southern Michigan and sail the lakes I live on but also trailer anywhere throughout the state where the winds will let me. My hull ID is #858.
