FOR SALE: 1981 Com-Pac 16 Sailboat + 1981 Magic Tilt Trailer

Asking Price:  $3200

This 1981 Com-Pac 16 is a classic pocket cruiser — compact, stable, and perfect for weekend sailing adventures. I purchased her two years ago with plans to do some light restoration and get back on the water, but time has simply gotten away from me. Rather than let her sit unused, I'd love to see her go to someone ready to bring her back to life and enjoy her.

Condition Notes:
•   Hull & Rigging: Solid fiberglass hull with teak trim; 7/8 fractional sloop rig with anodized aluminum spars. Structurally sound and ready for TLC.
•   Sails: In fair condition – functional but may need replacement down the road.
•   Trailer: 1981 Magic Tilt in good condition with new axle and hubs.
•   Interior: Two 96" berths, portable head, and basic stowage including a lazarette. A cozy setup for two.
•   Keel & Draft: Fixed fin shoal-draft keel with 450 lbs of ballast; draws only 18" – great for shallow waters.
•   Outboard Motor: Nissan 3.5HP  Unknown if it will start.
•   A few extra items: Lines, cushions, miscellaneous bits.

Note: She is a 40+ year old boat... still sound, but has her wrinkles.

This is a great project boat for someone looking to get into sailing with a proven design. The Com-Pac 16 is known for its sturdy build, ease of trailering, and forgiving sailing characteristics — ideal for lakes, bays, or coastal cruising.
