Somewhere between Pensacola and home I lost the knurled nut that sits inside the lifeline pelican hook. I searched the web for a replacement but trying find a left hand thread stainless steel knurled nut seems impossible. Before I call Hutchins, as I'm sure if they stock it I'll have to purchase the entire hook, does anyone know where I could locate one? I searched the usual places: hardware stores, marine stores, garage sales, McMaster Carr, Grainger, online marine stores.

Apparently, I have become your used boat hardware headquarters! I saved all the hardware when I replaced my lifelines. PM your mailing address and I'll send you one.

FYI,
Replacement knurled nuts are available from C.S.Johnson Marine. As are the complete gate hooks.
