We all have them.  A sock divorced from its mate.  Where did the other one go?  My mother would say, "It didn't walk away on its own".
Well sailors, today I have solved this mystery.  Whilst organizing the cabin of our boat, I noticed something at the bottom of the mesh laundry bag.  Could it be?  I quickly pulled it down and shoved my hand to the bottom.  We'll I'll be darn, (no pun intended) there is the sock that I've been missing and accussing another household member of using as a rag.  The conversation became so fierce, I threatened to wear the other's socks!  I even started placing my soiled socks in a mesh bag and requested they all be washed while inside the bag.

Fortunately for me, that other household member wasn't present at the discovery and will never be the wiser as I'm sure what ever is posted on this forum, stays on this forum.

Isn't that so Bob?
