While checking out a boat for our very own Chelle, I came upon this beauty.  After texting a pic to her, she wired me the cash to put a hefty down payment on it.  She said once she has back home in a slip, all Compac 'O Nauts are invited for sundowners evening at...sundown!

This is very generous of her and think she deserves a round of applause.

YAAAAAAAY!

Almost forgot.  If it's raining, everyone is invited to the party Barge.  It's the boat on the right.

O M Goooooodness!!!!

Carl, you are TOO funny!!!! Like we were discussing yesterday, on the phone — I wouldn't want to be close to that boat during a storm! YIKES!!!! Chairs and the like flying through the air! I think maybe the owner of that boat might consider transitioning over to a Grand Banks trawler — everything is already 'built in' (flybridge, etc, etc) on those boats! :-D

Let me say that, Carl, you are such a gem!!!! Thank you so much for checking out the Quickstep for me!

I SOOOOOOO appreciate all of your help and time!!!!  :) :) :)

All kidding aside, THIS is Chelle's new boat!  Very appropriate.

Looks like "Sea Shell" is trying to return to its named after form!

Also, that party barge, literally looks as if some rednecks got a great deal on a sailboat............. what a riot!

The story goes, as told to me...

A fellow decided that living aboard a sailboat was the life for him, so he bought a dock and purchased what he thought was a suitable size boat.  After awhile he grew restless sitting in his boat day after day, evening after evening.  He wanted fresh air and thought a deck like he once had back home would suit his needs.  So, with a little imagination and less skill, he erected what is commonly known as an eyesore.  Now all the other liveaboards were not happy and expressed their dislike to the gentleman.  The gentleman, being a gentleman, decided it was in everyone's best interest if he moved back ashore.  Leaving his montrousity for everyone to enjoy.
