While walking the docks today I met a sailor named Ron.  He's 78 and spent decades racing sailboats. When I mentioned I sailed a Compac 19, he said he met Burl Ives and Mr. Ives sailed a Compac 23.  According to this gentleman Mr. Ives sailed it often and took it many places.
