Had a lovely day today with temps in the mid 70's and nice winds keeping a broad reach back and forth across the lake.  Took the whole fam damily - both adult kids, wife, and both puppies - for a lunch time sail.   Went very well and I think I've got a couple of potential boat dogs!  They got braver the longer we were out but never fear of them just jumping in unannounced.  Athena - the black girl - slept in the cabin quite a bit while Jake - the blond boy - was keeping an eye on all those gulls and loons!  Reggae music, Subway for lunch, and two tired puppies and two tired kids.  This is why I bought a sailboat.........

Sounds fun! The Eclipse is an awesome dog boat.  No problem letting them jump in for a swim and getting them back on board with the open transom.  Just keep them out of the cabin until they're dried off if your birth is made up for sleeping!  Nothing better than sleeping on damp sheets that smell of pooch!
