Remember you'd have to have some way of disposing of the condensate drain water and also to rig up the two "waste heat hoses" (aka discharge ducts).  I suppose you could rig one into the cockpit washboards and have it sit out in the cockpit and blow into the cabin...

Hey Tim, we use a 5,000btu window unit when plugged in at marina. It cost me $119, had it three years and we sleep under a fleece blanket even if it hit the 90's during the day. Clearly don't use it when on the hook but always cooler on the water and frankly if miserable we don't go! The downside is that with it in the companionway the cockpit is less inviting with both noise and warm air being exhausted, thus we only use it if no other way to secure a good nights sleep. Interlude and your 19 are also clearly different vessels and thus the unit you are considering probably won't be powerful enough for us and ours too much for the small space on the 19 both in size and cooling.

If ya get one keep us posted on how it works. What works best for us is to not go sailing if too hot, too cold, too rainy, no wind, too much wind, another words only Goldilocks weather!

The install will require only one hot air discharge, as only one of the two rear ducts exhausts air from over the condenser coils.  My thought was to make a connector to one of my 4" portlights.  I also have a spare 4" portlight that I could install in the forward bulkhead of the raised cabin overhead.

Any chance you have a dual battery bank on board already that is oversize?  You could probably rig up 24V supply to this devise off that and save $750 on batteries!  Although for 1,200 Wh in lithium batteries that's not horrible.
