Looks like the wx will allow me to sail on Monday.  I've owned my CP16/2 for about a month and she is ready.  I built a mast crutch, checked all rigging and gear.

I will launch her on Lake Murray, SC.  It has been over 30 years since I last sailed.  Back then it was on the Chesapeake Bay on my Catalina 22.  I hope to get back to the Chesapeake next summer.  I'm also interested in sailing around Oriental, NC after learning about the area on this forum.

I've named my boat Cajun Belle".  I will log a trip report.

Best Regards,

Patrick

Patrick:
Let me offer an advance congratulations for this is truly a  monumental event! I hope for grand weather for you in this inaugural sail and I'm sure we all want to share in this excitement with you! From up in NJ here, where our boats are tucked away for the winter, this means so much more!
What a perfect early Christmas present to yourself- enjoy!

Patrick,
welcome aboard.  You should have had a good day of it, judging by today's weather here in NC.   Look forward to your report.
