Port light replacement

Finally started pulling broken hinged Port lights from Good Tidings.  Com-Pac never reinforced fiberglass between interior and exterior cabin skins, it is no wonder these leak as the fiberglass flexes with slightest pressure under portlight.  Imagine Sun Cats are done the same way.

Horizon cat 03  w  small  leaks  thru  both  ports  when  closed. What?s the  easiest  fix ? Do i  have to  remove the  ports  and  rebed ? Use butyl tape,  or the  new  3m  double side ? I m looking  for  suggestions and will also send inquiry to com pac...
