Hi all -

Saw a post from a while back, asking why no mobile theme. Good question, even moreso now than then... :)

On sailFar, I use Tapatalk, but there are Security concerns there that I would like to avoid. There are some mobile-friendly solutions for this board software now, though they are not free.

So - a survey - How do you access the forum: PC/laptop, Tablet, phone, or a combo, and if so, approximately the percentage for each (ie 20% desktop, 60% tablet, 20% phone).

Would you like it to work/look better on mobile devices (tablets/phones), is there a need for that?

Thanks! :)
My other car is a sailboat.

100% desktop/laptop to access here.  I have a mobile.  I use it for calls, texts and checking the weather.  I'm an old guy though.  I don't stare at my phone all day because I am retired and have better things to do.

I don't need an app.  If others feel it would be good, fine with me.  I won't be paying for it though.

100% desktop/laptop here.  I also have a mobile use it for basic functions talk, text, check email, find my way around on foot, etc.  For me an app to get the forum would not be necessary.

I access the site primarily via iPad, with the exception of needing to post photo links via Flickr, which can be done only via Flickr's Windows browser, not ipad (grrr, boo Flickr).

I would welcome a cpyoa site optimized for iOS.

90% mobile (5.7 inch screen). Just find it easier to read when I have a few spare minutes.
No problem with the layout as is when viewed on phone.
