New Compac 16/1 owner.

Permission to come aboard the board?
Hi everyone. I am the proud new owner of well loved Compac 16 and I have already learned so much kicking around these message boards so thanks everyone! You sailors really know your ships. I've ordered my owners manual but I have a burning question that I can't wait for.

My Compac has been sleeping in a barn for 15 years after the previous owner demasted her driving home. So I have acquired her with all the stays disconnected and looking at the mast connections am having a hard time figuring out how they attach at the top of the mast. Does anyone have a picture or diagram they could share?

I need to figure out if I need to order new stays or the bracket that holds them.

Update. No need to respond. I found the missing parts and have it figured out. Thanks anyways.

Welcome aboard! Glad to hear you figured out your stays issue. Make sure and post some pictures of your new yacht. I am sure you will have a lot of fun with your boat. I have a 16 and a 23 and really like them both.
