Trailer, cradle or no need for either?

If you were in the market for a 25, would not having a trailer be a deal breaker? Currently my boat has a cradle, which to the local marinas doesn't give me a reduction in winter storage. I could buy a used trailer for about $2000, or a flatbed trailer and just bolt the cradle to it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Get the flatbed.  More uses for the trailer than just boat keeping.

Ryan,

My boatyard (Beaton's) does not charge to build supports fit my cp 19.  They reuse or replace each year as needed.

Do you plan to keep baot at your home for the off season?

( I kinda like working at boat yard on my 19.  Always some one with more knowledge, experience or at least a different point of view.)

So for me and the 19, no trailer.

One of the attibutes of the 25 is it's trailerability. So for me, having either a trailer or cradle on a flatbed would be a must. Like my 23, I wouldn't trailer launch it.
