Just finished Tania Aebi's book, it was very entertaining, makes you want
to do some bluewater cruising.

For those of you who don't know her story. Her father buys her a
boat and at the age of 18 circumnavigates the globe alone.

I'm now moving on to 'How to sail around the world' by Hal Roth.
One can dream!  ;)

JERSEY SHORE TRAILER SAILERS

I will be looking forward to reading your book when you write it. "Sailing around the world in a CP-19"

Years ago I read a book called "Tinkerbell".  A guy crossed the Atlantic in this boat and it was only 12 feet long.  I'd say a circumnavigation in a 19 footer would be a piece of cake!  Go for it.

Well I'd be moving up to a larger craft if the opportunity arose.

Though I do have plans to circumnavigate Long Beach Island here in New Jersey one day with my 19, though most likely not this summer.

Bob Manry crossed US to UK in Tinkerbelle, a modified 12'-7" Old Town sail boat.
Tinkerbelle sits in Cleveland, Ohio on display. Well worth the trip to the
Western Reserve Museum. Go on line and find, buy and read the book. Great! skip.
I think in Small Craft Adviser magazine a guy sailed his WP 19 or C-P 19 from
Calf to Hawaii. Way cool hey?

To all:
I the recent Small Craft Advisor, on page 8, is a short articl by Jerry Montgomery entitled "Little Breeze", a Montgomery 15 which was sailed from California to Hawaii. It can be done with the right prep, knowledge, timing and maybe some help from the Master.
