Ash scattering at Sea help in Massachusetts

Now here's a post you don't see too often.  My cousin recently lost her husband and wishes to scatter his ashes off the Mass coast (Cape Cod Bay, Buzzards Bay or Vineyard Sound preferred).  We are looking for someone with a boat sized to hold about 8-9 people for a few hours and are willing to take us out to 3 miles (to be legal)  to perform the ceremony.  Timing is flexible this year...sometime in the summer would be OK.  We'll pay for gas, your food/drink, incidentals, etc.  Note we're not asking to rent the boat..we want the owner to be in charge and we'll be there to help with usual crew duties.

She would like to do on a sailboat if possible but would consider a power boat. So I'm guessing a 27 ft or larger would be needed.

Considering their marriage wasn't so great, this not be a terribly solemn event.

Any takers or friends that can help?

As a Navy retiree, I am planning to be buried at sea, and hope everything works out for you. If my boat was big enough, I would be glad to be of assistance.

The deceased will probably be liking it.
