Hello Ls & Gs,

I thought you might get a kick out of seeing one of our fine Com-Pac Yachts ( 33 year old CP-19II # 323) on the cover of a 30,000 issue 2018 Visitor Guide for Smith Mountain Lake VA. (While it's not the Rolling Stone, it is a popular magazine here at SML, VA).

She provided a fine backdrop for a group of my sailing friends at our dock.  Buddy the Sea-Dog is prominent in the foreground.  The table floated up after a windstorm last Sept., so we decided to capture a moment of what life at SML is for those unwilling to roast in FL, or freeze in the dark in NJ or NY or MA, Etc.

If you peruse the digital copy here: http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/leisure/SmithMountainLake2018/index.php#/1 you'll find another picture of the 19 behind the SML regional Chamber Staff.

Tim,

With those great pictures as part of the sales pitch, maybe it's time to try another SML/ComPac outing?  My C16 is ready to roll, and sail.

Dave

P.S.  I hope it is not too late to claim my "I Survived" SML tee shirt.
P.P.S.  I talked a neighbor into purchasing a C19, way out of state.  Maybe we can get together before he heads out to pick it up . . .

Great Pic Tim, of both the boat and the group.  Nice to see Vicki looking so healthy and happy after the frightening experience she went through some time back.  The Mag makes me want to visit Smith Mountain Lake.

Good to see you guys having a great time!  I too am happy to see Vicki well and the both of you raising a glass in a toast.

We do need to make our way out there one of these days to say hello and check out the lake! 2020 looks like it's in the cards for a Chesapeake/Shenandoah trip.
