I would like to look at a compac 16 in person.  I have conducted extensive research on the perfect retirement boat for myself and I'm pretty sure it is the CP16.  However, I'd like to look at one in person before pursuing a purchase as it is likely I'll have to travel to find one.  I don't need to sail it, but I'd like to see the cabin and the berths.  I live on the lower Eastern Shore of Delaware/Maryland/Virginia (DELMARVA) and am asking for assistance of any CP16 owners near by.

My older mk1 CP 16 is on eastern shore, in Tilghman, MD.  I'm not there all the time, however.

Another option is when you go to purchase one, look at it then.  They are great boats, but it's important to do an inspection to make sure it's in reasonable shape before purchasing.

TMW, let me know if there's a time I could look at it.  I'm primarily interested in the cabin size.

I am moving mine to my Cambridge, MD house if that is any closer for you.  I am just finishing up cleaning the interior and making new cushions. Let me know if you would like to take a look.  Not much of a cabin if that is what you are looking for, that is for sure.  It does make me miss my Skipper 20.  I spent many nights on that little boat sailing the Texas coastline.

Cambridge is much closer.  I'd really appreciate the opportunity to look at it up close.  How do we make this happen?
