G'day everyone! I am the proud new owner of a little 1980 16ft boat. She needs a little TLC, but nothing we can't handle. I plan on using her for a sailing school to serve my area. I enjoy this forum as there is a lifetime of info here. Thanks for being here for us.

Welcome J! Looking forward to your contributions...it's what makes this place work! Where do you sail. Any photos of your baby? More importantly, what kind of beer do you drink? PBR fans get a 50% discount on the $5000.00 membership fee.
Again, welcome!!

I am sorry. We sail the Gulf of Mexico on Floridas west coast. I am finishing a year long refit on our Gulfstar 41 ketch and an hoping to do some major sailing in 2019. I have been a delivery captain for many years and want o teach sailing to anyone interested.

Bob23, I love your quote. I have really lived, but I am unwilling to die. It is my drug. (To) keep on keeping on - Joe Dirt.

Wow, bet you have some stories to tell. I don't think I've lived quite as much and as far as dying, well I can't really avoid it but I'd like it to be on my terms! So, to quote the famous prophet Mungo Jerry  "Life's for living!"
