Peanuts

I have learned a lot from reading everyones post's.

After a year and a half I'm calling her restored, not finished, but restored.

Can't wait until spring.

Hello from Iowa right back at you. Roger here from Waterloo. I sail a Sun Cat where ever I can find a few acres of water, with my favorite place being Lake Red Rock. Hope to see you on the water some place when it warms up. That seams a long way off with the temperatures we have had the last few weeks.

ROGER

Rafici

Howdy from western Iowa.    I haven't sailed Redrock yet, went straight to Rathbun my first couple years sailing. Then up on Superior for last summer.

Peanuts

Went to Rathbun in 2016, got caught in a thunderstorm.

Pretty scary for someone who's only sailed a handful of times.

We've spent most of our time on the Mississippi in a power boat, this sailing thing's a whole lot different.

Plan on going back to Rathbun this Summer, hopefully better weather.

I am also impressed by the paint job.  Can you send a pix of your stern? Err, of the boat, that is.

Welcome.

Ahoy there Rafici and Peanuts, I'm not the only Com-Pac sailor in the state. If eather or both of you would like to meet at Rathbun or Red Rock just let me know and I could try to meet you there. Have sailed both lakes but my favorite is Red Rock. Peanuts it looks like you painted you 16, was wondering what you used for paint. I painted the top sides of my Sun Cat with Rust-o-leom this winter and am real happy with the results. It's finally warm enough hear to sail but they haven't put the docks in yet. Would like to cross wakes with you some time this summer.
