I'm looking for a CP19 mainsail in good condition. Anyone treated themselves to a new set of sails and the old main really isn't that bad? I'm one of the few, if not only, CP-19's in England so not too many options this side of the pond.

I would have posted this over at the classified section but it doesn't look like too many people venture over there!

Well John S I hear your plea but have no extra main to give.
I hate the thought of your sail in tatters as The Isle of ? sails into view.
In English/European waters do you have to sail with those name boards attached to the lifelines along side the cockpit sole?
What is different about your boat from ours? Hummmmmm?
Are you going to watch the Chicago Bears/Indianapolis Colt's Supper Bowl from Miami on the tube? It would be a delayed broadcast I'm guessing. We are speaking of football hear. Not soccer. Good Day  Ours outside appears to be -13 deg below zero F. With a heady windchill to boot. But sunny. So much for global warming. HA! Skip.

Well, pity about the sail. I may have to have a new one built.
There is no basic difference between my CP-19 and others - she was built in Florida in 1991 and shipped across the pond shortly thereafter.
No, we don't have to put the name on those canvas cockpit dodgers. Yes, that's what we call them. What you call a dodger we call a spray hood. Two nations divided by a common language!
It is sunny and cold here right now; and dry, which is always a bonus around here.

I've just ordered a new main from a company in Florida. It was a very good deal; I'll let you all (y'all?) know how it works out.

John,

Give Masthead enterprises in St.petersburg Florida USA a call.. The have a good selection of new and used sails. They have a web site... Go to google and do a search for Masthead Enterprises

Todays forcast is 65 deg with a high of 72 BRRRRRRR..... I'll be glad when winters over.
