Could some one tell me how to get rid of the "Please Update Your Account..." picture with the 100% speedometer.  It is located where the picture of my boat used to be.

You have to replace it with a picture that is not hosted on Photobucket.  You can kill your photobucket account but that will only replace your speedometer with another box that says "Photo not found" with a nice cat in the pic.  That particular picture is changed in your "modify profile" area.  You can use a picture that is not hosted on a third party site for that.

I killed it for you Gerry. The avatar settings are under the Profile link at the top of the forum (to the right of home, help, etc),  then click Forum  Profile should you want to change it in the future.

Brackish is right--Your photo was on photobucket but they changed user policies and effectively held it for ransom, and blocked access to your pics unless you paid a very high fee. The photo you saw with the meter was their replacement pic.

They can rot in hades for what they have done....

Thank you.  Hades might be too nice.   How about Ely, MN in January?

Hey... Ely is a beautiful area.  And as I always say, as a proud Minnesotan "When it's cold you can always put more clothes on, but when it's hot you can only take so many off."

Ely is beautiful.  Our son went to college there for two years.  We enjoyed our spring and fall trips.  However;  after Christmas he took the battery out of his car and kept it in a closet because it wasn't going to start until President's Day.  Maybe Photobucket should split their time.
