Thank-you Steve and Sara for hosting this event again this year.  I would also like to thank Carl and Joan for the designing, procuring and delivering of the CLR shirts and the note cards you gave all of us.
I would also like to thank the captain of the "Ghost Ship" for taking me out and showing me some seamanship skills based on 40 years of sailing and letting me see some boat goodies in action (auto pilot, cockpit reefing setup etc).  Even though I couldn't see him he goes by the name Jolly Roger.
I went for a long bike ride Friday morning while waiting for the weather to pass and then in the afternoon I had a couple great hours of sailing.

Great to see everyone at the CLR! Thanks to Sara and Steve for putting on such a fun event. Thanks to Carl for letting me hop a ride on your boat.  Great people, great food, great times...

i have to apologize for the event this year. Sarah was quite busy with her mom having a stroke and was sorry she was absent a big part of the time. she did put together a great dinner on thursday though. this year the weather did not co-operate and our race was a bit of a problem (matt did of course win---damn hunter). next year our race will be a shortened course requiring a few more laps. maybe exercise balls would make good markers. off the water we did have great times. dan is the king of corn hole (be careful who you tell that to ok buddy). for the most part this year clr was a success however i feel it should have been better. we will put our thinking caps on and come uo with a new plan. thanks to those who attended. it is a pleasure to host the event every year. next year will be our tenth i think and i hope we can entice more sailors to attend. joan didnt feel well for most of the event and we wish her well. she is really something. who knows why she married carl. that is a mystery.

Thank you Steve for another great CLR event. I thought the weather was fine...it was windy, but we all managed just fine.  Also thank you to McGuyver for putting up with me on your boat all week!
