well with so much going on here family wise we will be falling back on an old standby for a party theme: "Attitudes and Lattitudes "   ------   " Island Time"----Caribbean.   in other words grass skirts, beach hats, flowered shirts, coconut bras, parrots, palm trees    that kind of thing   even gilligans island stuff. im sure everyone has something appropriate? to wear

Can't wait for the big party.  I'm sure we can dig something up to wear, and do have an idea what to drink!

In case some others here especially the new folks aren't sure what CLR is, it's an abbreviation of Carlyle Lake Rendezvous (Illinois), an event organized here on the forum for all trailer sailors. It is June June 26-30, 2017 at the West Access Marina.   Various activities occur such as a race or two, general sailing time, raft ups, organized dinners and the infamous awards banquet/party.

Check out older threads for more info.  This is about the 9th consecutive year of the event--frankly I've lost track but I think that's about right. It will be the highlight of your summer, that's pretty much guaranteed!

Any plans for music? Any guitar players out there? I'm a very amateur percussionist and I'll bring my cahon. Please don't laugh or throw tomatoes!

Bob, I play an awesome set of air drums so the percussion section should be covered!

Someone usually brings music..? We're usually too laughing too loud and border obnoxious to hear music though.
We'll bring our little bose speaker.

I don't think many have thought about bringing our instruments as there is already enough to lug with the boat and copius amounts of stuff.
I'm certainly not bringing my Martin to get banged around on I-70 for 400 miles...
