Sail East~A Passing.

For many of you that attend the All Sail Shows you may have run into a great guy talking up his business, Sail East; Sailmakers...by the name of Pete Duerr.

Sadly we lost Pete to ALS in late summer. It was just last Jan first of Feb that I was joking with Pete in Chicago's Navy Pier.
The signs of his desease were showing and he said that he doubted he would make 2006's show. We hugged and said good by.
My spinnaker will not fly without kind thoughts for this wonderful man. It's colors will shine a little brighter in Pete's glow. Skip.
