  although my catalina 18 isnt a particularly pretty boat, it is a sailboat and deserves to be on canvas.  after christmas i will begin.

I'll check with the artist to see if I can pass on his info, or if he is interested in doing more commisioned works.  He used to advertise in Sailing magazine to do paintings of sailboats.  I love his style of work.  The colors are great, and since he is a sailor, he knows how to paint sailboats.  There are too many nonsailing artists that try to paint a sailboat and they just don't get it right.
