Modifications to the 19

Hi Marcus, The solar vent is a Nicro Day/ Night Solar vent with a rechargeable battery. It fits in the standard 3" hatch vent system  that comes with the 19. It does not let in water but can be shut off in rough sea conditions. An on/off switch also is provided. I bought mine at West Marine. I think that they are on sale now. I installed mine in less than an hour. Thanks again for your support. Steve
