Is it safe to sail a leaking keel?

Thanks for a look at the pictures. She looks great. Were you able to replace the wood in the cabin without splitting the hull and removing the deck?

Yes, what I did was - took one of those little cutting tools you get at Harbor Freight with all the different cutters and sanding attachments and cut out all the rot, then made the cuts as straight as I could back under where the berths start to get narrow, then laid in the new flooring and joined the seam on each side with a piece of sheet aluminum.  Then covered the whole thing with a piece of cheap linoleum.  I'm considering pulling that up and going in with some indoor-outdoor carpet.
