We did indeed miss you Allen. BBB 2015 is just around the corner, as time flies by swiftly these days. Next year maybe we'll have a full house! And maybe Marty will have an event-free trip. I'd talk to the big Red Man about a new outboard, Marty. Does Volvo make an outboard? Now that would be cool and so fitting!
Now, now Brad: I would never steal another mans chips. Might borrow a bag or two but never would I steal. My favorite: Cape Cod Sea Salt and Vinegar altought the Guacamole that Emily suggested sounds great. I haven't been able to find them down here. This girl obviously knows her chips!

I don't if Volvo still makes an outboard (Volvo Penta), but they certainly do make one of the best, if not the best, inboard/outboard drives. Might take a bit of whittling to make it fit. Of course, the weight would probably pull the little CP16 to the bottom!

I assume that Sean is still following this thread. If so, check out the following: http://www.frontier.net/~chappell/

I found the thread in the Com-Pac Sailors Lounge - "Compac 19/23 with MANY modifications"

Hi,

Thanks very much Marty.

Cheers,

After several hours of trying, the above may or may not be a photo from the BBB 2014

Oh well, I guess not.  I am going to visit my son next weekend and will have him help me as I think I need someone standing by my shoulder to figure this out.

Brad:
It took me over a year to figure it out and I couldn't have to done it without the help (and some serious ribbing) from my friends here. I'm techno challenged!  You'll get it. It's an awkward way, dealing with Photobucket but it does work.

Bob:

Thanks.  Skip sent directions, which I printed out, and Wes and Brackish chimed in with some help on another thread.  It appears I came close and did get the photos to photobucket.  I will make another couple of tries at it.

     Hmmm, let's try this...

Skip said to click on 'save the picture' and it would show up with the post, but I don't know where that 'save the picture' is.

Whoa!!  Lookit that!!  Did you put that photo there, Bob??  Hopefully, I can repeat that stellar performance.

Starting at the left:  Santosha, a one year old Legacy, Blue Heaven, a 19-2 (with Emily on the bow of her favorite boat), Koinona, a 23 and off to starboard, Pegasus, a 16.  Marty apparently is visiting from a foreign land (PA) as he has his courtesy flag flying from the starboard shroud (!).

After I recover from this, I will post some more photos from the spectacular BBB 2014.

Nice shot! Thanks for posting the picture. The photos I tried to take with my phone were horrible. Couldn't see the screen to frame them. The boats really look cool. And thanks for the tip, Elk River, you can be sure that the flags will be flown properly in the future.

P.S. You may be pleased to know that this photo is now my desktop background.

Sheesh Marty, now I can't get any of my hats to fit, they all seem a little small...

     More photos will be coming.

Great shot. Congratulations are in order.

I will see if I can repeat my tech non-skills and post some more photos from the BBB 2014.

Bob23 (with a PhD in kazoo; we understand he performed with Ma-Ma-Yo), Sean (wailing out the blues), Marty, wondering what the heck he is doing there, Emily (outdoing Bob on her kazoo)

Koinona, helmed by Sean; Bob & Emily apparently snarfing down all the potato chips (an on-going investigation is underway to determine just how many cases of chips were consumed and never made it to the anchorage.  Said investigation is severely hampered by "Joisey pol'tics" and participants unwilling to cooperate)

Koinona & Blue Heaven at dawn at the Captain's Inn slips, Forked River, N.J.

Koinona & Blue Heaven joined later in the morning by Pegasus

Miss Emily (unwittingly involved in 'potato chip gate')

Hopefully, these will prove that the Barnegat Bay Bash 2014 is not just a figment of our imaginations.

Hardly a figment of MY imagination! Seriously, thanks for the great photos and can't wait for a repeat of such a wonderful weekend. See you guys at the mid-winter BBB-2014.1, wherever that may be.

Great write-up and great photos, Brad. Looks like you got the hang of it. And a very good pic of Emily. Thanks, keep 'em coming!
