I've reduced my photo to 400x356 pixels and 152kb and it still won't post.

What file type? Try another?

I don't think it's file size, the new limits allow for huge files, and too much scrolling to view IMHO.

Huh, jpg should work.

I just posted another .jpg using Firefox, no problem. Can't help with Windows or Edge.

If you want, I'll send you my email in a PM if you want to send me a photo to try posting.

Thanks Bruce, I've solved the mystery.  I use Photoshop and when I saved the photo as a jpg it apparently saveds it as a jpeg. However, it doesn't show as that, it shows as a jpg file extension.  I only discovered this by trying to use the iphone to post, and instead of giving me a blank screen as Windows did, it instead gave a message saying 'jpeg' file type is not allowed...etc.  So I saved my photo as a PNG instead and it loaded fine. Thanks for your help. Always good to solve these little mysteries.

Excellent. Your chartplotter mount looks good!

The table in your photo looks like lacewood, not common in the States. I see you're from Australia. G'day mate!

Hi Bruce, it's commonly called Silky Oak here, and was used extensively for furniture back when furniture was made of real wood. Grevillea robusta apparently - not sure what it might be called there.  A bit of googling seems to suggest there's a few similar woods including Brazilian Lacewood, but also a set of the Proteaceae family trees, more common here, including the Grevillea. Lovely wood for furniture and as I have a bit of it around in the shed, I use it for boat bits too.

We only see it as a veneer here, and it's rare at that. The ray is so distinctive. An oak common name, if inaccurately attributed to a non-Quercus species, is easily understood.

It looks like it will work here. I wonder why it won't work in the CP-19 thread...
