News:

2-15-25: Gerry Hutchins, founder of Com-Pac, has crossed the bar and headed west.

Sincere condolences to his family, and a huge "Thank You!" to Gerry from all of us, I'm sure.
Requiescat in pace.

Snow has moved off shore, but not before leaving 11" behind. Warnings of "extreme cold" (27) isn't a concern for someone who spent his first 61 years in northern Illinois. The county is shut down. From what I read, 2 plows have been brought in to clear state and county roads. We are 2 miles off a county road so most likely stuck home until this melts. Mid 40s by Tuesday and we planned on leaving for Florida on Wednesday. Maybe, maybe not.

Cape Coral. Originally Joan was to fly in and I was to meet her at her sisters, but since th keys trip ended early, we decide to drive down. Now we wait for the snow to melt. Driveway has 11" in it and I don't have a snow shovel. Not that I would attempt shoveling 150' of dive.

We made it down and was able to watch the very first Space Shuttle launch. You could 'feel" it! Launches are great!
