Al,

Did you find a Horizon Cat?  Or what are you replacing her with?  I'm sure you won't have a problem finding a new owner for your Eclipse.

Yes I did it!  Bought a 2021 Horizon.  It is listed here so you can check it out.  No trailer so I am having one built by Triad in Raleigh NC.  Boat is in New Bern NC.  I am so looking forward to it but I will miss my Eclipse.... a great boat.  Al

we look forward to seeing uour boat in june

I'm looking forward to meeting Al S. here in New Bern when he comes to pickup his new Horizon from me, hopefully next month.  Also, I met Carl last week when he came to check on the boat, to tell Al S. anything that I may have missed telling him about the boat.
I'm afraid I am going to have to step back from my long term boating activities.  I guess it's just "aging out".  I'm 82, and it's gotten a bit exhausting to mainly put the boat "to bed" when I have gotten back to the slip.  I've enjoyed owning both sailing and power boats here in New Bern for the last 25+ yrs.  After selling our 30ft Mainship Pilot in 2020, my wife agreed that I should buy a small sailboat that I could singlehand easily.  She was having balance problems, so had given up a yr or so ago.  The Horizon was/is the perfect boat for that.  I had my first boat when I was 13, so it's been a good, long, boating life.
I wish Al S., Carl, and all those on this forum, "Fair winds and following seas".

Excellent! That's who is building the new trailer for my 19, as well. Good outfit.
